School Driver Found Dead

The bus driver of the University of San Jose Recoletos (USJ-R) Basak Campus was found dead at around 8 am Tuesday  inside the school premises.

Alberto “Butchoy” Secretaria, 58, was found hanging on a rope inside the house where he was quartered. Secretaria, a resident of Barili town, was employed as a bus driver for the said school for 21 years.

Based on the initial investigation conducted by the city police, they found that Secretaria had an outstanding loan obligation in the amount of P200,000 with the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-ibig). The driver also left a message narrating his financial problems.
