Congressman Eric Yap is Negative of COVID-19, Error Due to Clerical Reasons
The Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) announces that Congressman Eric Go Yap of ACT-CIS Partylist is negative of COVID-19, contrary to reports saying that the congressman has tested positive for the virus.
RITM also apologized to the congressman, further stressing out that he remains to be COVID-19 free.
The error that led to reports of the congressman testing positive for COVID-19 was due to an “encoding error” which was discovered by the Molecular Biology Laboratory (MBL) of RITM. (GFB)
