22 Coasters Distributed to Cebu City Barangay Captains

22 air-conditioned coasters were handed over to 22 barangay captains in Cebu City.

Barangay Tagba-o, Sudlon 1, Pung-ol Sibugay, Pamutan,Tuong, San Jose, Bacayan, Cambinucot, Taptap, Budlaan, Cogon Pardo, Suba, Pasil, Basak San Nicolas, Quiot, Tisa, Barrio Luz, Sta Cruz, Camagayan, Ermita, Parian, Lorega and Mabolo.

The turning over was held just outside of the Cebu City Hall and was headed by Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella.

Labella said that the coasters will provide a decent transportation to the people of different barangay especially to those who are residing in mountain barangay where transportation is a common problem.

The coasters can also be used to transport elementary and secondary public school students from their home to the school and vice-versa.

Labella got the chance to meet the barangay captains to discuss the purpose of the coasters distributed before the turning over. Labella also reminded them to take good care of it.

Meanwhile, 15 coasters are expected to be also distributed to other barangay in Cebu City. (MLC)
