Saved and Identified

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:” John1:12

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is,” 1 John 3:2

It’s not really helpful to compare yourself to other people because God created each person as a unique individual with their own gifts and talents. Jesus is the ultimate standard of a good person. No one can fully measure up to Jesus because He is perfect, but you can try to be as much like Him as possible. When you give up everything to be like Jesus, you are consumed with being godly, which will lead you into doing what is good and right. Don’t compare yourself with other people -concentrate on being the best believer that you can be.
