What are the Differences between a Bulldozer and Payloader
Bulldozers and Payloaders look alike— like twin brothers in a construction site. Although they may have similar physical features, they have different roles in construction.
Most people who are not into heavy equipment may confuse a bulldozer to a payloader or vice versa. The only striking difference between them is their wheels.
The bulldozer has a tank-like track or caterpillar wheels while the payloader has the traditional wheel, just like cars.
Now that you already have an idea of how different they look, we go over their uses.
The bulldozer, with its caterpillar wheels, can traverse very uneven terrains. Attached to a bulldozer is a blade that pushes away dirt, rock, and soil to level and grade the worksite.
The payloader or wheel loader, on the other hand, has a deeper bucket to carry loose soil and deposit it in a dump truck or a box. The payloader is also used to move dirt and loose soil to clear up the construction site.
The bulldozer and payloader are both essential in a construction site. Just like brothers, they work as a tandem.
