Mambaling Fire Razes 70 Houses
A morning fire rattled the residents of three sitios of Barangay Mambaling in Cebu City on September 18.
The three Sitios affected are Sitio Wangyu, Ipil-ipil and Abbya.
Based on the investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), electrical problems might have started the fire according to some witnesses.
Authorities received the fire alarm at 11:07 a.m. and it was raised and declared into “task force alpha” at 11:26 a.m.
Different firetrucks were dispatched by different neighboring cities and towns to help put out the fire.
By 12:05 p.m., the fire was declared under control.
Meanwhile, fire victims are currently situated at the Abbya gym and Viking gym for temporary shelter. (MLC)
