7 Cebu Graduates Clinch Medal of Excellence Awards
For being exemplary student-leaders taking education courses, seven students received the Medal of Excellence (MOE) Award from the Coalition for Better Education (CBE) at Cebu City Sports Club.
The awardees are: Vince Blissel Jane Baron (BSED-English, University of Visayas); Ed Bernardo Visitacion (BSED-English, University of San Jose-Recoletos); Januar Lumawag (BSED-Filipino, Consolacion Community College); Edue Myle A. Matulac (BEED-Special Education, University of Southern Philippines Foundation); Lesieg Lyn Ann N. Macachor (BEED-Special Education, Cebu Normal University); Thalia Jemmina Hortezano (BSED-Special Education, University of San Carlos); and Clifford Cabalse (BSED-Mathematics, Southwestern University-Phinma).
The awardees were recognised for their outstanding performance and contribution in both academic and extra-curricular activites.
They are the fifth batch of awardees of CBE’s MOE program.
They received a certificate of recognition, one-year free membership to CBE, and a scholarship grant for LET review in partnership with EduStudio Review Center.
They will also help schools and participate in the Brigada Eskwela this May.
CBE recognizes exemplary student leaders as a way of affirming youth’s participation in nation-building and acting as an important change in the country.
