50 Houses Burned at T. Padilla Fire
A fire blazed about 50 homes at Sitio Bahaw, Brgy. T. Padilla on July 9. 2018.
According to Cebu City Fire Investigators SFO2 Roland delos Reyes and SFO1 Arnel Borces, they received the fire alarm at 5:58 pm and the fire was under-control at 6:42 pm. At 9:28 pm, it was declared that the fire was extinguished.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated as of now.
The estimated damages caused by the fire is P500,000 more or less.
The Aftermath of the Fire
According to the Facebook post by Nagiel B. Bañacia, the Cebu City Disaster Council Head, 38 houses were totally burned and 2 houses were partially burned.
The fire displaced 80 families including 38 house renters, 11 lodgers, and 12 house sharers.
The fire victims are temporarily evacuated at T. Padilla Gym. (Aljun Cainghog)
