435 Cruise Ship Passengers Visit Hundred Islands
A total of 435 tourists of various nationalities on board luxury cruise ship MS Seabourn Sojourn that came from Nasau, Bahamas made a stop-over at the famous Hundred Islands National Park today, April 5.
This was announced by Alaminos City Mayor Arthur F. Celeste who welcomed the visitors, along with Department of Tourism Regional Office I Director Martin S. Valera.
The visitors were composed of Australians Austrians, Belgians, Canadians, Swiss, Germans, Danish, French, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Dutch, Norwegian, New Zealanders, British and Americans.
Celeste said the visitors were mesmerized by the pristine beauty of the HINP, the country’s first national marine park.
HINP was proclaimed as a national park by President Manuel L. Quezon.
The ship is set to bring its passengers for another holiday in Boracay.
MS Seabourn Sojourn is one of the most luxurious cruising vessels of the world with a large, two-deck spa facility of over 11,000 square feet, two outdoor swimming pools and six outdoor whirlpool spas.
The ship measures 198 meters long and a beam of 25.60 meters. The ship as well as her two other sister ships, Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Quest, were designed by Bjorn Storbraaten of Yran and Storbraaten Architects AS of Oslo, Norway.
