4 Day Surgical Medical Mission Coming Up

In its bid to help the underprivileged patients, the Philippine College of Surgeons will conduct a medical mission in the cities of Carcar and Danao next month.

The four-day surgical mission is set on Feb. 8 to 11 for Carcar while Danao will play host on Feb. 15 to 18.

The cases that will be handled include breast mass, hernia repair, thyroidectomy, hysterectomy, appendectomy, among others.

Interested parties are advised to register at the Cebu Provincial Hospitals in Carcar and Danao for the pre-operation screening. They can also visit the Chief of Hospitals in Carcar and Danao for proper coordination.

The Philippine College of Surgeons-Cebu Chapter led by its president Dr. Marilou Viray sponsors the undertaking.

Aside from the surgical mission, an optical-dental mission will also be conducted on those dates. Medicines and services are free.
