Saving money can be a tedious task, but finding ways to have fun while saving can help make the experience worthwhile. Doing fun and creative money-saving challenges can help you achieve your financial goals while having a blast.

Let’s explore three fun challenges that you can do to help save money.

1) 52-Week Saving Challenge

The 52-Week Saving Challenge challenges you to save money by incrementally increasing it until the 52nd week. Determine how much money you will put aside initially, this will depend on your income.

For example, you can start by putting aside P10 on the first week then increase it to P11 on the second week, and so on, at the end of the challenge, you will save P1846. The bigger the initial amount you put aside the bigger you will save.

2) Daily Savings Challenge

Set aside a fixed amount to keep daily for a year. The longer and the bigger amount, the bigger money you will save. Let’s say you set a fixed amount of P20 pesos per day. At the end of the challenge, you will save P7300. The key to this challenge is to be consistent with it, don’t skip a day.

3) Barya sa Bote Challenge

Save your spare coins inside a bottle or water container and open it until it is full. What is nice about this challenge is that you don’t need to commit a lot of money to save but only the spare coins you have. With a bigger container, you’ll be surprised how much you saved.

Saving money while also having fun, is always a win-win. Doing these challenges not only helps you save your money but also builds healthy financial habits and makes you appreciate the value of your hard-earned money. (ASC)
