3 Lapu-Lapu City ‘Cybersex Dens’ Raided, 10 Kids Rescued
Government agents on Thursday morning raided three suspected cybersex dens in Lapu-Lapu City and rescued at least 10 children and an adult.
The raids were jointly conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) 7 and Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) 7.
They served the search warrants issued by Lapu-Lapu City Regional Trial Court Judge Toribio Quiwag.
The warrants were issued against Editha Aying of Barangay Mactan and Grace Ybañez of Barangay Babag, all in Lapu-Lapu City, for suspicion of operating a cybersex den where the children were asked to pose nude before online cameras.
The two were arrested together with one Jeramie Paquibot.
The three denied involvement in the operation of cybersex dens.
The NBI agents also seized the computers and cameras which were the subject of the search warrant.
The three were brought to the NBI 7 office in Cebu City.
They will face criminal charges for violation of the anti-human trafficking law. (PNA) LAP/EB/EDS
