2M Inoculated Within 6 Months in CV
The Department of Health 7 (DOH 7) announced on Friday that Central Visayas administered over two million doses of the COVID-19 within six months.
Chief pathologist of DOH 7, Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, announced that Central Visayas administered a total of 2,021,403 doses of COVID-19 since March of this year.
Here is the breakdown of inoculated individuals in Central Visayas:
Cebu: 1,477,345
Bohol: 276,265
Negros Oriental: 210,639
Siquijor: 57,154
Loreche said that if the pace of inoculation is sustained, the region will reach a 70% vaccination rate within this year.
There are 5,176,623 individuals in the region aged 18 and above who are eligible for vaccination in the region according to the National Economic and Development Authority data. (ASC)
