230 Companies Convene at PhilConstruct Visayas 2014
To bring into the limelight the industry’s expansion and preparation for ASEAN Integration 2015, the opening of the fifth Visayas leg of PhilConstruct 2014 series converge 230 companies that introduced more than 1,000 new products in the upbeat and growing construction sector last June 5 until 7, 2014 at the Waterfront Cebu City.
The back-to-back event welcome 8000 visitors and counting to their most comprehensive and complete exhibit of all building constructors, materials and utilities.
Chairman Bernard Vonn Sia shared during his speech, “This year, we will be presenting something unique- a truly world class exhibition highlighting the newest and most comprehensive products and technologies in the building and construction industry including heavy machineries, scaffolding, plumbing, concrete, ceramics, interior products, bathroom & kitchen fixtures, floor, wall and ceiling finishings, and many more.”
The Cebu Contractors Association Inc. (CCA), together with the Philippine Contractors Association Inc. (PCA) and the Philippine Society of Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers (PSVARE) joined forces to come up with the successful event.
Through booths and activities, it gives visitors and guests opportunities to connect and build networks with the best in the market exporters, including professionals and industry-related associations, and discover astounding works of the country’s leading companies carrying trusted global brands.
This biggest construction show in the entire Visayas brings into focus the sustained growth of the construction industry comprised of suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and providers of top brands in heavy equipment, hardware products, paints, cement, air conditioning, power tools, safety and security systems and water treatment facilities, among others.
PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas is co-presented by Boysen Paints, CEMEX Philippines, and Mariwasa Siam Ceramics, Inc.
Today is the last day of the exhibit. It is open to all visitors from 10:30 am to 6:30pm at the Waterfront’s Pacific Grand Ballroom.
