152 Bags Collected During 2019 Bloodletting

A total of 152 bags of blood were collected during the 2019 Bloodletting activity of the District 3860 Rotary International, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Cebu Chapter, last July 28 at Robinsons Galleria Cebu.

Bannering the theme, “Safe Blood for All. Donate Blood. Save Lives,” this has been the 8th year of the annual celebration of the National Blood Donor’s Month of the Rotary and the CCCI, as they hope to gather as many blood donors as possible and save more lives in the future.

Major blood donors for this year’s event came from the University of the Visayas (UV), University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR), and personnel from the Philippine National Police (CCPO, MCPO, and LLCPO).

Members of District 3860 Rotary International and Rotaract Clubs of Cebu as well as CCCI members showed their support through sending volunteers and blood donors.

Volunteers from USJR, Metro Cebu News, and Savers Depot also gave assistance.

Further, the support of Café Laguna, Krispy Kreme, Nature’s Spring, ICAN Movement, Pollution Abatement Systems Specialists Inc. (PASSI), Maayo Well Cebu, Fotojaya Studio, Clean Queen 105.9 Monster Radio, Dunkin’ Donuts, Alcordo Advertising, The Lemon Co., and the Rotary Club of Cebu have been instrumental to the event’s success.
