According to DOLE 7 Director Salome Siaton, PEZA in Mactan is the first economic zone in the country to be awarded a safety seal certificate.
A safety seal certificate is awarded to companies or businesses that are compliant with the standard health protocols and adopted a digital contact tracing application to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Earlier this June, other Cebu companies have also received their safety seals, namely the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway project by Cebu Link Joint Venture; The Marketplace, Robinsons Galleria Cebu, Brunos Barbers (DTI); and Bai Hotel.
DOLE also urges businesses to apply for the safety seal certificate. They can apply online through https://reports.dole.gov.ph or visit the DOLE 7 regional office. (ASC)
