11 Cebuanos Top the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination
11 Cebuanos top the May 2018 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination. The 11 topnotchers are from Southwestern University (SWU), University of San Carlos (USC), and University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR).
8 students from University of San Carlos (USC) topped the licensure exam, namely: Stewart Herbie Tan Po, who placed 3rd with 91.00% rating; Erra Kaye Heruela Doble, placed 4th with a rating of 90.83%; Peliza Faith Dacuyan Cabañero and Irish Abella Kabingue both placed at the 7th spot with 89.83% rating; Charisse Michaela June Quilicot Catiel and Miguel Albert Morantte Taveros from USC bagged 8th place with 89.50% rating; Angela Joy Tiu Go and Richmond John Tiu Rockwell placed 9th with a rating of 89.33%.
Princess Obregon Gumanit who placed 8th, scored 89.50% and Ma. Lucille Velasco Ferrer who placed 10th with a rating of 89.17% are from University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R).
Southwestern University’s (SWU), Fritz Amiel Lamis Desabille placed 9th in the CPA licensure exam.
The examinations were held on May 13, 20, and 21. The results were released on the 27th of May, 2018. Among the 9,830 that took the licensure exam, 2,843 of the examiners passed. (Aljun Cainghog/PRC)
