100 Kids Benefit from PIA Cebu, Lions, Aldub Activity

Over 100 kids from Lower Malibu, Mandaue City benefitted from civic activities conducted jointly by the Cebu Chapter of #Aldub Nation and Cebu Lumad Lions today.

Cebu Lumad Lions President Gaille Dejoras made a dental hygiene talk and distributed tooth essentials afterwards.

“Oral hygiene is very important because our mouth is connected to the rest of the body and we have to start clean there,” Dejoras said.

They were also reminded on the importance of taking care of the environment through a story telling session by Philippine Information Agency-Cebu.

There was also distribution of Cebuano dialect comics about the West Philippine Sea.

The #Aldub Nation Cebu Chapter celebrated its first anniversary since they grouped together due to the  television series  / teleserye over noontime show “Eat Bulaga”.  The love team of the “teleserye” Main Mendoza and Alden Richards were dubbed as ambassadors of good values of the youth.

Its president, Renren Rubas Diaz, said they are advocating the values from the “teleserye” and are geared towards conducting more gathering-with-a-cause.

“We are not just a fans club but we want to continue what are being taught within the ‘teleserye’ as portrayed by Aldub and for sure many can relate with the punches of Lola Nidora,” Diaz said.

The #Aldub group gave out lunch treats from a popular fast food chain and several school supplies.
