10 Arrested in “Oplan Limpyo Talisay”

The Talisay City Police station, under the leadership of PMaj. Gerard Ace Pelare, arrested 10 criminals during the “Oplan Limpyo Talisay” on December 18.

The operation, which started around 10:45 a.m. and ended at 8:30 p.m, was led by Talisay City Police Station Deputy Chief of Police PLT. Ralph Celosia.

Four (4) consecutive buy bust operations were conducted in Sitio Bridgeville, Brgy. Bulacao; Sitio Cadikay, Brgy. Lawaan; Purok 4, Brgy. Jaclupan and Artville in Brgy. San Isidro.

Eight (8) drug personalities, labeled as street level drug pushers were arrested during the said operation and other two (2) wanted persons were also brought back to custody.

6.71 grams of illegal drugs were seized by the police worth of P52,033.

Arrested suspects may be charged of violating Republic Act. 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (MLC)
