1 Arrested in a Buy-Bust Op in Lawaan III
A buy-bust operation was conducted at around 10 in the evening of July 7, this led to the arrest of a resident drug dealer at Brgy. Lawaan III, Talisay City.
According to a press release of Talisay City Police, the buy-bust operation was conducted by the Talisay City Police headed by PSUPT Marlu Palomaria Conag which resulted to the arrest of a drug dependent Arjay Bacus Labitad alias “Toto.”
Recovered from Labitad’s possession were 20 small, heat-sealed plastic packs which is suspected to contain shabu. The items that were confiscated in the result of the buy-bust operation weighed in at 1.05 grams which has an estimated street value of P10,500.00.
Labitad is currently detained at the Talisay City lock-up facility and will face charges in violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11, Article II of R.A. 9165 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002
All the recovered evidences were submitted to Regional Crime Laboratory Office (RCLO) 7 for proper disposition. (Aljun Cainghog)
