I appreciate the move of Lapu-lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza’s quest questioning the authorities who performed the anti-cybersex operation in Brgy. Basak, for undertaking uncoordinated operation by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and other related law enforcement agencies, to pull out the students from their school classrooms in the name of protecting them from the ongoing cyber porn proliferation in Lapu-lapu city.
The alleged lack of coordination seem to suggest the truth about haphazard after-effect on the affected students of the lingering trauma it inflicts on them. The city mayor is on the right track and she should forcefully voice out her objection to prevent the repeat of the same within the school premises, which at most is viewed with suspicion as ill-advised and counter productive.
Proper coordination with responsible city officials is necessary to protect the best interest of the students concerned, otherwise the operation will be saddled with questions of impropriety and misconduct.
